Karen has been a passionate artist in the digital space and in the real world. Her love for art began at a young age, inspired by the cartoons she saw on TV. She would spend her free time sketching her favourite characters and scenes, like Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Spongebob Squarepants.
Soon, she began creating her own characters and original drawings and designs using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. Finding her inspiration from everyday objects and Pinterest, she wants to continue growing as a digital artist.
Today, Karen spends her time working as an Art Director for a start-up digital marketing agency and freelance Graphic Designer. Check out a small collection of her favourite works below.

Video Animation
My first video animation effects project for Peach Luffe, an indie artist based in Toronto, Ontario! The recordings of handwritten text were adjusted to match the timing and pace of the song using Final Cut Pro and Procreate. The final video was exported with settings that optimized it for social media use, to help Peach Luffe boost his new song release.
